-->
Let's Go Innovate Encourages the Next Generation of Leaders

There are many young people that will be our next leaders.  Let's Go Innovate is not just training and working with adults, we are also interested in working with and mentoring our future leaders.  Yes, we do have the responsibility of reaching back and helping the next generation.  Can you remember who your mentors, coaches, and teachers were who poured into your life. It is time for you to PAY it FORWARD.  On January 26, 2013 we took time out to talk with Miss Tennessee Junior National Teenager 2012 Emily Hamby.  She started off her time with us interviewing Fumi Hancock about her best seller Adventures of Jewel Cardwell Hydras Nest, then Yolanda Conley Shields and Fumi interviewed her about her family, school and community activities.  Her main focus during her reign will be literacy.  She see's this as a serious issue for our State.  She will spend time sharing the importance of reading and encouraging young people to volunteer to read to younger children in their communities. Lets Go Innovate enjoyed talking with Emily and her mother about her journey. Publicist Sherry Parfait also joined Emily during the interview to help prepare her.
Fifteen-year-old Emily Hamby is an award-winning speaker, community volunteer and the 2012 Miss Tennessee Junior National Teenager.  An aspiring public speaker, Emily has won local and state speech contests, and is the 2012 America’s National Teenager speech contest winner. Emily is proud to volunteer her time with charities in Rutherford and Cannon Counties, including Room in the Inn, the Salvation Army, and the United Way, for which she serves as a “Stuff the Bus” campaign spokesperson in 2012. Emily is an avid soccer player and is actively involved in numerous groups at her school and church.  Emily Hamby lives in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  See full interview below.  Please follow us on facebook and twitter  and stay tuned for other business and leadership tips and special interviews with other local and national young and seasoned CEO's, Entrepreneurs or others looking to Take Back Their Vision on our youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/PrincessinSuburbia.
